Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina have urged to take care of party discipline altogether organizational matters including the upcoming municipal elections. He said that altogether elections including municipalities, party candidates need to work for them. Whoever is going to be nominated from the party, the leaders and workers must get on the sector united for him. Party discipline can’t be broken.

The Prime Minister said this while addressing a gathering of the Awami League government Representative Nomination Board at her official residence Ganobhaban on Friday. The meeting, chaired by the Awami League president, finalized the party’s mayoral candidates in 61 municipal elections. they’re going to contest the boat symbol within the second round of municipal elections to be persisted January 16.

The Awami League has involved the gathering of party nomination sorts of the candidates for the post of mayor of 64 municipal elections to be persisted January 30 within the third phase. a day from Sunday to December 24 from 11 am to five pm, Awami League President Sheikh Hasina’s political office in Dhanmondi will need to collect and submit party nomination forms.
The information was given during a handout signed by the party’s office secretary Barrister Biplob Barua on Friday. It further said that only the candidates proposed within the resolution signed by the president and general secretary of the concerned district, Upazila, and municipality Awami League can purchase the nomination form. Candidates can collect and submit the appliance form themselves or through a professional representative of the candidate with none quite public meeting in compliance with proper health protection rules. Candidates must bring a photocopy of the candidate’s national card while collecting the appliance form. The committee has announced the schedule of 64 municipal elections within the third phase on December 14.
