Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has called upon the elected representatives to figure responsibly in accordance with the principles and norms of the daddy of the state. The Prime Minister said everyone should abide by the principles and norms of the daddy of the state. Everyone has got to act responsibly as an elected representative.

The Prime Minister was speaking because of the chief guest at the virtual ceremony of swearing-in of the newly elected chairman of Feni District Council on Sunday (December 27).
Noting that her government has taken steps to strengthen governance through decentralization of power, Sheikh Hasina said, “That is why we’ve streamlined every level including the Zila Parishad, Upazila Parishad, and Union Parishad by law.”
He said that the pace of development could reach the homes of the commoner up to the village level. In other words, we are working with the goal that the grassroots people can get the advantages of freedom.
The Prime Minister said, “This is what I might tell the newly elected chairman of the district council. we’ve to realize the trust and confidence of the people of the country. Because Awami League is that the organization which the daddy of the state built together with his own hands and thru which the people united and won the war of liberation this Bengali nation.
Mentioning that a force or organization is required behind any achievement, the Awami League president said, “Father of the state has built this Awami League thereupon goal in mind.”
The Prime Minister said that through that organization, the people of the country skilled the decision of the daddy of the state and achieved victory through armed struggle. So we are a victorious nation. And as this victorious nation, we would like to stay our heads high everywhere on the planet. I would like to satisfy the will of the daddy of the state. thereupon in mind, all elected representatives will work to make sure that the momentum of development that we’ve created in our country continues.
He said that the Bengali nation shouldn’t need to bow its head anymore. He wished the Bengali nation a cheerful New Year and wished the people of the planet, including Bangladesh, freedom from the Kovid-19 epidemic.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina participated in the event by connecting with the Virtual Cabinet Division via video conference from Ganobhaban on Sunday morning. The Prime Minister administered the oath of office to the newly elected Chairman Khairul Bashar Majumder through a video conference. LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Md Tajul Islam and Secretary to the concerned ministry Helaluddin Ahmed were present on the occasion.
Feni District Awami League vice-chairman Khairul Bashar Majumder won the Feni District Council by-election persisted December 10. pertaining to the reduction of the poverty rate from 40 percent to twenty percent during his tenure, the Prime Minister said if coronavirus had not existed Bangladesh could go an extended way in building a prosperous Bangladesh.
He said the continued celebration of Mujib Year and therefore the golden jubilee of independence in 2021 may be a vital time for the people of Bangladesh. However, the coronavirus has paralyzed everything. Even then, we are celebrating Mujib Year on a limited scale in compliance with the health protection rules.
“Coronavirus has appeared within the sort of epidemics everywhere the planet today and not only Bangladesh, but the planet economy has come to a standstill thanks to the outbreak of coronavirus today,” he said, adding that folks became jobless. Even then, Bangladesh is moving forward and its government has continued its efforts to maneuver the country forward.
