At some point on Friday night, miscreants smashed some parts of the hand and face within the sculpture of Father of the state Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman under construction at the intersection of Panchrasta in Kushtia city.

Superintendent of Police SM Tanvir Arafat said those involved in the incident had been identified after watching CCTV footage. they’re going to be brought under the law soon.
Kushtia Municipality has taken initiative to create three sorts of sculptures of Bangabandhu on an equivalent altar. additionally, sculptures of 4 national leaders are going to be erected on this altar.
