No tests are going to be taken to be admitted to the varsity within the 2021 school year. Education Minister Dipu Moni has said that students are going to be selected through the lottery altogether classes from first to ninth. the choice was taken by the education minister at a news conference on Wednesday (November 25) at 12 noon.

Every year lottery for first-class admission and admission test for second to eighth class are organized. However, thanks to Corona, the admission test is going to be canceled within the new school year (in 2021) and students are going to be admitted to all or any classes through a lottery. Student admission forms are going to be sold online. then, the varsity authorities will check and choose it for the lottery. Students are going to be admitted by organizing a lottery in multiple steps. Lottery results are going to be published on their respective school websites.
Dipu Moni said the quota within the catchment basin (adjacent to the school) in Dhaka metropolis are going to be increased from the prevailing 40 percent to 50 percent this point . Five school choice opportunities are going to be offered rather than the prevailing one school choice within the cluster-based lottery.
The education minister further said that admission within the lottery are going to be done through full transparency. Strict action are going to be taken against any institution if they charge an additional fee at the time of admission. Admission are going to be completed between 10 and 15 January.
Referring to the upcoming book festival, Dipu Moni said, “Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the book festival on January 1 like per annum .” However, books won’t be distributed by gathering this year. Instructions are going to be given to the faculties on the tactic of distribution of books.
Stating that the results of HSC 2020 are going to be released by December, the education minister further said that when classes will start again depends on things in Corona. But whenever the category starts, everyone has got to follow some hygiene rules at the start. therein case, everyone might not have classes all day. However, more emphasis is going to be given to SSC and HSC students within the class. they’re going to probably take classes all day except at some point.
