Chief Secretary of the Prime Minister is retiring thanks to the expiration of his term. Ahmed Kaikaus. The Ministry of Public Administration has issued a notification on Wednesday (December 23) to retire him from New Year’s Eve as per the principles of the general public Service Act 2018.

At an equivalent time, he has been given post-retirement leave (PRL) from January 1.
Ahmed Kaikaus was appointed Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister on December 29, 2019, while he was the Senior Secretary of the facility Department.
Kaikaus, a politician of the BCS administration cadre, became the acting secretary of the facility department on December 15, 2016. He was promoted to the post of secretary on 23 February 2016. Kaykaus was made senior secretary on February 27 this year. Ahmed Kaikaus, a 1984 batch administration cadre officer, has served in various government departments.
Although Ahmed Kaikaus was retired, no new Chief Secretary was appointed.
