Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has called upon all to figure together to implement the choice taken by the party’s Nomination Board within the government elections led by Sheikh Hasina.
Referring to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s stern stance on organizational discipline, Obaidul Quader said those that have already revolted against the party’s decision won’t be nominated in any way.

The Awami League general secretary warned everyone about this and said that everybody should work together to follow the instructions of the party president. Obaidul Quader also said that special attention is being paid to those leaders or people’s representatives who will obstruct or provoke the implementation of the party’s decision.
Obaidul Quader called upon the leaders and workers of all walks of life, including public representatives of various levels of the Awami League, to face the cold-stricken people during this situation because it is already cold within the northern part of the country. At that point, he also mentioned that each disaster and misfortune is that the tradition of Awami League to be by the side of helpless people.
The general secretary of the Awami League further said the democracy of the country is moving forward through various adversities. Democracy isn’t transformed into a mahiruha at some point, there are many paths to cross. The Minister for Road Transport and Bridges also said that everyone’s cooperation is required within the ongoing journey under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina to institutionalize democracy.
He called upon the opposition to play a responsible role in safeguarding the democratic values of all stakeholders regardless of party affiliation and taking them forward from their respective positions.
Regarding the celebration of the V-day of Democracy on December 30, Obaidul Quader said, “In the changed situation thanks to the Corona epidemic, the Awami League will observe the V-day of Democracy in compliance with the health rules.”
Meanwhile, Obaidul Quader wished everyone a cheerful Christmas, a spiritual festival of the Christian community.
