The longest span within the history of the bridge was within the last two months, October and November. There are 6 spans during a record 4 per month. Where there have been only two spans at the Mawa end, there’s now a 1.5-kilometer bridge visible across the whole 10 spans. The bridge has merged with the bank, now the 2 ends also will merge if these two spans are installed.
According to the plan, the new span is going to be placed on the 11th and 12th pillars next to the span that last sat on November 26. However, it had been taken to the pillar on Thursday, each day before the span, so as to urge some technical work done. a military patrol ship ensured the security of the span-carrying crane within the middle of the river until it had been lifted over the pillar on Friday.
