Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister for 2 more years within the agreement. Ahmed Kaikaus. This appointment has been made on the condition of suspension of his retirement leave (PRL) and related leave.
The order was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday (December 23). Ahmed Kaikaus was thanks to retiring on New Year’s Eve at the top of his term. The Ministry of Public Administration also issued an order approving his PRL.

The order states that the contract appointment of Kaikaus are going to be effective from January 1 or the date of joining.
Ahmed Kaikaus was appointed because the Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister on December 29 last year while he was the Senior Secretary of the facility Department.
Ahmed Kaikaus may be a 1984 batch administration cadre officer. While he was the extra Secretary of the facility Department, he was appointed because of the Acting Secretary and Chairman of the Bangladesh Power Development Council. Later, on 15 December 2016, he became the acting secretary of the facility department. He was promoted to the post of secretary on 23 February 2016. He became the senior secretary on February 26 last year.
The names of some senior officials are being heard because of the new Chief Secretary. it’s also rumored that Ahmed Kaikaus is abiding by the agreement. However, the new Chief Secretary is going to be finalized by the prime minister, public administration ministry officials said.
