The government has appointed a replacement director-general of the library department, jute department, Bangladesh National Scientific and Technical Documentation Center, and chairman of Bangladesh Jute Corporation.

The order was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Monday (December 21) night. Sanjay Kumar Chakraborty, Additional Director General (Additional Secretary) of the Narcotics Control Department, has been made the Director-General of the Library Directorate.
Waqf Administrator (Additional Secretary) SM Tariqul Islam has been appointed because of the Chairman of Bangladesh Jute Corporation. Khulna Additional Divisional Commissioner (Additional Secretary) Hossain Ali Khandaker has been appointed because of the Director-General of the Jute Department.
Additional Secretary of the Department of Health Education and Family Welfare. Sakhawat Hossain has been appointed because of the director of life assurance Corporation. Additional Secretary to the Finance Department Farhina Ahmed has become the Chief Controller of the Office of the Chief Controller of Imports and Exports.
Besides, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Textiles and Jute Sabina Yasmeen has been appointed because of the Director-General of Bangladesh National Scientific and Technical Documentation Center, Additional Secretary within the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment. Shahidul Alam, executive of the Bangladesh Institute of Applied Nutrition Research and Training and extra Secretary of the Ministry of spiritual Affairs. Abdul Hamid Jamaddar has been made Additional Director General of the Narcotics Control Department.
Sheikh Mohammad, project director of the Income Support Program for the Poorest project. Kabedul Islam has been made a further Secretary within the Department of Statistics and Knowledge Management. Additional Secretary of the Finance Department Mofiz Uddin Ahmed has been transferred to the Financial Institutions Department.
