Fakhrul is accompanied by his wife Rahat Ara Begum. However, it was not known how long they would stay. In the Covid-19 situation, you have to stay in quarantine for 14 days in Singapore.
According to BNP sources, Mirza Fakhrul is suffering from several diseases including high blood pressure, IBS, spinal cord, dental problems, and blockage in the internal carotid artery of the neck. Fakhrul has been going to Singapore for treatment for several years.
He last visited Singapore in October 2019. His regular treatment has already been disrupted due to busyness and corona.
