Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) in response to the accusations of the current mayor and former mayor Syed Khokon said Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Tapas, one out of personal grudge, some say, the answer is I do not think it prudent to give a responsible position.

He was chatting with reporters after paying homage to the portrait of Bangabandhu at No. 32 within the capital on Sunday (January 10) morning on the occasion of Bangabandhu’s Homecoming Day.
Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh said that if someone accepts a bribe, takes a bribe, trades commissions to urge employment, embezzles government money, trades commissions to offer loans, and uses government influence to require something hostage from someone or something. Corruption occurs when there’s some money within the promise to offer. Besides, the allegation made isn’t an objective statement in any way.
Former Dhaka South mayor Saeed Khokon has accused current mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh of violating government laws and failing to pay city corporation workers.
Mayor Tapas said it had been his personal opinion. It doesn’t matter. And not having the ability to pay the workers of the town corporation is simply a misconception. it’s virtually no basis.
Regarding Bangabandhu’s return to his homeland, he said, “Independence wouldn’t be complete if the daddy of the state didn’t return to the country.” So today is extremely significant.
