Any vote means a festive mood in Manirampur. As a result, the wind of voting has begun to blow naturally before the voting festival of Manirampur Municipality on January 30. Kazi Mahmudul Hasan, the ruling Awami League’s nominated boat symbol candidate, has started a series of election campaigns before the Manirampur municipal elections. Leaders and supporters of all levels of the party’s allies and affiliates including the Upazila and Municipal Awami League are present.
Leaders and activists of all levels of the Awami League in Manirampur are now during a line, forgetting all types of disputes before getting nominated before the elections.
A special extended meeting of the Municipal Awami League has been held within the presence of the top-level leaders of the Upazila Awami League to win the Awami League’s boat symbol candidate. As per the choice of the meeting, MM Nazrul Islam has already been made the chief adviser and an 11-member advisory committee comprising Upazila Awami League general secretary lecturer Faruk Hossain, senior vice-president Amjad Hossain Lavlu and senior member Abul Kalam Azad.
A strong election committee has also been formed with municipal Awami League president Amjad Hossain as a convener, Awami League leaders Uttam Mitra, Bashir Ahmed Khan, Mozammel Hossain Mail, and Montaz Biswas as joint conveners.
According to the choice of this committee, an election staff meeting was held in Sadar (Manirampur) ward no. Kazi Mahmudul Hasan, president of Upazila Awami League and incumbent mayor of Awami League nominated boat symbol, addressed the meeting because of the chief guest.
Sadar (Manirampur) ward Awami League president Abul Kashem presided over the function as a special guest.
Senior Awami League leader and former Upazila Chairman MM Nazrul Islam, Upazila Chairman Nazma Khanam, Upazila Awami League leader and former Acting Upazila Chairman GM Majid, former Upazila president Mikail Hossain, Awami League spoke under the leadership of young Awami League leader Shishir Ghosh Mithu. Leaders Bashir Ahmed Khan, Sandeep Ghosh, Mozammel Hossain Mail, Upazila Mahila Vice-Chairman Kazi Jolly Akhter, Municipal Awami League President Amjad Hossain, District councilor Shahidul Islam Milon, Awami League Leader Gaur Ghosh, Adam Ali, Babulal Chowdhury, Former General of Upazila Chhatra League Editor Kazi Tajammul Hossain Tito, former convener of Upazila BCL Moniruzzaman Milton, current convener Muraduzzaman Murad, joint convener Fazlur Rahman, former student leader Mamun Aur Rashid Jewel, former municipal BCL leader Palash Ghosh et al..
After the meeting, Awami League leader Abdur Rashid was made the convener and Tusharkanti Mitra Dulu was made the member secretary.
