The Southern City Corporation (DSCC) has faced obstruction in evicting 911 shops inbuilt the capital’s Gulistan’s Fulbaria Market without following the planning. During this point, the police clashed with the traders.
According to eyewitnesses, as per the previous announcement, the officials of the town corporation visited the eviction drive at 11:30 am on Tuesday. But they might not start the operation even after 12:30 pm thanks to the obstruction of traders.

Later, a store on the sidewalk ahead of Nagar Plaza began to be demolished with an excavator at around 1.15 pm. Excited shopkeepers started throwing bricks. At first, the police retreated. After a short time, the police took control of things by firing a couple of rounds. Then the eviction campaign started.
At that point, the traders said, for an extended time we’ve been doing business here by buying positions. But the town corporation came to hold out the eviction drive within the morning with none notice or advance notice. we’ve invested many rupees during this business. Where will we go if the shop breaks down?
Traders are protesting by blocking roads to prevent the campaign. At this point, they’re chanting various slogans including ‘Stop the campaign’.
