According to sources, only women prisoners are going to be kept in jail with high security and modern facilities. at the present, all the ladies prisoners are kept in Kashimpur Women’s Central Jail. it’s the second women’s central jail within the country after the development of the country’s first women’s central jail at Kashimpur in Gazipur. it’ll hold both tried and convicted prisoners.
Its construction was completed several months ago, but it’s not been launched thus far thanks to the coronavirus. The Prime Minister also inaugurated an LPG station at Keraniganj on an equivalent day. Gas connection is provided from LPG station to Central Jail. As a result, from now on you do not need to burn wood to cook. LPG is going to be cooked on gas.
Earlier, the Prime Minister inaugurated the new Dash 8-400 model Pole Star with state-of-the-art technology during a video conference from Ganobhaban.
In a video conference, the Prime Minister inaugurated 20 newly constructed fire stations and 6 newly constructed regional passport offices in several parts of the country.
Inaugurating the new Dash 8-400 ‘Dhrubatara’, which has just been added to the fleet of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, the Prime Minister said, ‘After 75 years, the country has been ruled by illegal occupiers for 21 years. The Prime Minister said development work of Cox’s Bazar, Syedpur Airport is underway besides construction of the third terminal to extend the capacity of Shahjalal International Airport.
The Prime Minister also said that the inauguration of the new aircraft was a bold step within the stagnant situation of Corona. Sheikh Hasina also expressed hope that the epidemic situation would be resolved soon.
