Being a rebel candidate of the party within the election means ignoring the choice of the Awami League president. those that disobey the choice of the leader will never get the membership of the party, they’re going to not be ready to board the boat of Awami League.

Awami League presidium member Jahangir Kabir Nanak made the remarks while addressing a rally organized by Khagrachhari district Awami League on Saturday (January 2nd) to protest the vandalism and desecration of Bangabandhu’s sculpture.
Criticizing the rebel candidates, he said there might be no internal squabbles after the leader was finally nominated. All those that will do Awami League will need to work for the boat following the choice of the leader.
He added that the Awami League may be a big Democratic Party. those that disobey the team’s decision will need to pay the last word price within the interest of keeping the team so as. they’re going to never get Awami League membership. Can’t get on the boat. He also warned that the party would take tough action against the rebel candidate.
He also said that he has no place within the Awami League who has ignored the choice of Sheikh Hasina as a rebel candidate.
Kujendra Lal Tripura MP, Chairman of the Refugee Rehabilitation Task Force, also spoke on the occasion. Besides, leaders of district-Upazila level Awami League and allied organizations including reserved women MP Basanti Chakma were present at the rally.
