The sub-committee on international affairs of the Awami League has been announced. Obaidul Quader, the party’s general secretary, approved the committee on Sunday (January 17th) under the direction of party president and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The party’s advisory council member Ambassador Mohammad Jamir, chairman, and international affairs secretary. Shammi Ahmed has been made Member Secretary.
The 56-member sub-committee has members – Awami League presidium member Lt. Colonel (Retd.) Muhammad Farooq Khan, Foreign Minister. AK Abul Momen, Member of Parliament Golam Farooq Khandaker Prince. Md. Abdul Majid Khan, Kazi Nabil Ahmed, Dr. Habibe Millat, Nahim Razzak, Nizam Uddin Jalil Jan, Awami League Central Executive Committee Member Abdul Awal Shamim, Ambassador Syed Shahed Reza, Shahab Ahmed, Barrister Shah Ali Farhad, Khan Mainul Islam Mushtaq, Tariq Hasan Saumi, Zafar Sadiq Biplob, Tarun Kad, Sheikh Abdullah Al Mamun, Barrister Imranul Kabir, Barrister Imranul Hai, Barrister Nadia Chowdhury, Shahrin Tilottama Shravan, Fayazul Haque Raju, Shikha Bose, Narayan Shah Moni, Md. Enayetullah Tushar, Raihan Shakib, Golam Farid Ahmed, Sharmin Sultana Lily, Fairuz Chowdhury, Mizanur Rahman, Syed Monir, Sumna Karim, Sylvia Parveen Leni, Suruj Alam, Sumon Kundu, Kamal Mohammad Naser (Rubel), Asaduzzaman, Sheikh Momin, Jasimuddin Akand Rony, Kantara Khan, Nehrin Mostafa, Pratik Chakraborty, Fahima Chowdhury Moni, Swat Akshir Mujib Wasi, Ayub Ali, Ziaul Haque Shimul, Fahad Yusuf Hossain, Khaled Masud Ahmed, and Abdul Majid.
Besides, three people have been kept as experts: Dr. Abdul Momin, Dr. Shams Rahman and Dr. Md. Mohiuddin.
