Awami League’s sub-committee on labor and manpower has been announced. Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Tuesday (January 12th) approved the party’s subcommittee on labor and manpower.

General (Retd.) Abdul Hafiz Mallick and Habibur Rahman Siraj, Labor Secretary of the Member Secretary Party have become the Chairman.
Apart from the chairman and member secretary, the 83-member committee includes members of parliament, former leaders of Chhatra League and Sramik League, leaders of labor organizations, and labor experts.
Among them are- members of Parliament Shasunnahar, Md. Ain Uddin and Didarul Islam, former president of Chhatra League Liaquat Sikder, former president of Jatiya Sramik League Abdus Salam Khan, former ambassador SM Rashed Ahmed, former general secretary of Jatiya Sramik League Sirajul Islam, former chief engineer of public works department and president IB engineer Md. Kabir Ahmed Bhuiyan, former IGP, and co-president Bangabandhu Sena Parishad. Kazi Bazlur Rahman, former general secretary of Chhatra League Mahfuzul Haider Roton, former president of Baira Md. Abul Bashar, Ali Haider Chowdhury, former secretary-general of CIP, Baira, Major Atma Halim (retd), Faridpur district Awami League member, Nikhil Chandra Guha, former presidium member of Juba League.
It is learned that in addition to the sub-committee on labor and manpower, several sub-committees of the Awami League have already been announced. Among them, sub-committees on education and human resources, industry and commerce, youth and sports, science and technology, forest and environment, liberation war, law, agriculture and cooperatives, women, culture, and health have been approved.
The forest and environment sub-committee has 82 members and the science and technology sub-committee has 72 members. The smallest sub-committee announced so far has been the Education and Human Resources Sub-Committee. The 40-member committee has 38 members.
