The 75-member full committee was approved on Wednesday, almost a year after the Feni district Awami League conference. District Awami League general secretary and Feni-2 MP Nizam Uddin Hazari has confirmed the approval of the complete committee.

The party president and prime minister Sheikh Hasina and general secretary Obaidul Quader on Wednesday (December 9th) approved the 71-member committee.
Nizam Uddin Hazari MP, general secretary of the district committee, received the approval committee from the party’s central deputy office secretary Sayem Khan on Wednesday.
Nizam Uddin Hazari said, within the newly announced district committee, veteran lawyer Hafeez Ahmed has been made the president and that I am made the overall secretary. Besides, Master Ali Haider, Akram Hossain Humayun, Priya Ranjan Dutt, Iftekhar Islam, Khairul Bashar Majumder Tapan are made vice-presidents, Abdul Karim, Nur Hossain, Zahir Uddin Mahmud Lipton are made joint secretaries, AKM Shahidullah Khandaker has been made office secretary and Mamunur Rashid Milon has been made associate.
In a conference held at the Feni Government Pilot highschool ground on December 25, 2019, veteran lawyer Akramuzzaman was declared president, and Nizam Uddin Hazari was elected president and general secretary of the Feni district Awami League. Akramuzzaman died of corona on June 26 before the complete committee was announced. Hafez Ahmed, a former vice-chairman of the newly formed committee, was given the post of acting chairman.
