The Cabinet has approved the draft of the President’s speech within the first session of the Eleventh National Assembly in 2021. 10 issues are gaining importance within the speech of the approved President. The approval was given at a cupboard meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday (December 21st).

Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam said this at a press briefing after the cupboard meeting. the cupboard meeting was chaired by the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister presided over the virtual meeting from Ganobhaban, and therefore the Ministers attended the meeting from the Secretariat.

In the President’s speech, the overall situation and a macroeconomic picture of the country, steps, and achievements are taken for socio-economic development of the country, programs taken for implementation of Vision-2021 and formulation of Vision-2041, employment reception and abroad, implementation of varied steps for the development of data and communication technology. the cupboard Secretary also said that emphasis is being laid on expanding the safety perimeter, progress within the trial of war criminals, achievements in foreign relations, a celebration of the birth centenary of Father of the state Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and therefore the programs adopted for it and administrative policy, strategy, development philosophy, and progress.
